Lekvanta is an independent, CA-assisted professional services practice in India. To file on your behalf we need real information about you and your business. This page says what we collect, why, where it sits, and how to have it removed.

What we collect

—Account details — your name, email address and mobile number, given when you register.

—Business details — legal and trade name, entity type, PAN, place of business, nature of business, turnover, authorised signatory and similar particulars the application requires.

—Documents you upload — identity and address proofs, photographs, bank and premises proofs, and anything else the department asks for.

—Case and payment records — what you ordered, what you paid, and the messages and stage history on your case.

Card and bank credentials are handled by the payment provider, not by us. We keep only the record that a payment succeeded, its amount and its reference.

Why we collect it

To prepare and file applications and returns on your behalf, to verify documents before submission, to keep you informed about your case, and to keep the records a professional practice is expected to keep.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your documents to train anything. We do not send marketing to you on behalf of anyone else.

Where it is stored and who sees it

Your details and documents are held in access-controlled storage. Only the consultants and staff working on your case can open them, and access is tied to a signed-in staff account.

Your information is not shared with anyone outside Lekvanta, with one exception: it is submitted to the relevant government portal or department for the engagement you paid for — the GST authorities, the Income Tax Department, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs or the Registrar of Companies, as the case may be. That submission is the point of the service.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Beyond that, nothing leaves.

How long we keep it

We keep case records and the documents attached to them for as long as your account is open, so that a later filing can reuse a document you have already sent instead of asking for it again.

After an engagement closes we keep the records for the period professional and tax records must be retained in India. When that period ends, or when you ask us to delete your data and no retention obligation applies, the records are removed.

Your choices

—See what we hold — your details, documents and case history are visible in your account.

—Correct anything that is wrong, either in your account or by telling your consultant.

—Ask us to delete your data by contacting us. We confirm what can be deleted immediately and what we are required to retain, and for how long.

Security

Access to customer data is restricted to staff who need it for the case in front of them, sessions are authenticated, and uploaded files are served only to the account that owns them and to the staff handling that case. No system is perfect, but we do not treat your documents casually.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. It is required for the account to work. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version appears here with a new date at the top.
