Refund Policy
What you pay Lekvanta is a professional fee for work done on your case. Whether it can be refunded depends on how much of that work has already been done. This page sets out exactly where the line falls.
Where your case stands
Your case tracker shows which stage you are at, so there is no ambiguity about which line applies on the day you ask.
Government fees are never refundable
Statutory government fees, challans, stamp duty and portal charges are paid to a department, not to us. Once paid to a department they cannot be returned by us under any circumstances, regardless of the outcome of the application. These are always separate from our professional fee and are payable by you at actuals.
No GST on our fees
Lekvanta is not registered under GST, and no GST is charged on our professional fees. There is therefore no tax component to refund — a refund returns the professional fee exactly as it was paid.
Rejections
A department may reject an application. Where the rejection is caused by an error on our side, we correct and resubmit at no further professional fee to you; any fresh statutory fee is still payable to the department. Where the rejection follows from information or documents you supplied, or from a decision the department is entitled to make, the professional fee for the work already done is not refundable.
How to request a refund
Contact us with your case number and tell us you want to cancel. We check the stage your case is at, confirm in writing what is refundable, and process it.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method — the same card, UPI ID or bank account the payment came from. We cannot pay a refund to a different account. Refunds are initiated within 5 working days of approval; how quickly the money appears after that depends on your bank or payment provider.
Duplicate and failed payments
If you are charged twice for the same case, or money is debited for a payment that failed, the extra amount is refunded in full to the original payment method. Tell us and we will trace it.
